MAMZ - LAID TO REST

At exactly 2.30 pm West African time on Saturday January 25th 2014, the layers soil, poured into Mambo Mancho's grave had gone way above the brim and it was time for the final burial prayer and placing of reeves. The burial, which took place at her Mancho street family estate, was massively attended  by people of all ages and from all walks of life especially her colleagues of the creative industry, who paid their last respect to Mambo Mancho A.K.A Mamz, who also leaves behind her company Silverline Entertainment with its flagship product the annual Ebony Night.

Combine the smartness of world famous boxing show promoter - Don King and the very daring nature of Lagos based Bayo “Howie T” Odusami, the guy, who discovered P. Square, on one of his talent shows, and you will end up with the man known as Master Ngwa - Ngwa. Please, do not mess with him when it comes to business because he will serve you a plate of

business ruthlessness, if need be. But the truth is, he has ruled the domain of “Music Talent Show Production” in Bamenda, from the early 90’s till date. 
        From “Positive Vibration” to “Bamenda Urban Mix”, his talent show titles are numerous. Between 2003 - 2004, he moved to Cape Town and later to Johannesburg, South Africa, where he also produced a weekly talent show. He is the founder and CEO of Mixx Up Entertainment with units like Ngwa - Ngwa Production and Mixx Up Records, to which Afro Reggae star Divine Mokoro is signed. His talent shows have given exposure to stars like Magasco, Denzyl, Kazi, Tin Clone, Ambe Chenco, X Brown, Lucky Dreck, etc. Away from the talent show scene, he has carried out successful sales promotion campaigns for companies like Camtel and for several entertainment products. 
        He has also produced concerts for many musicians like Wax, Keng Godyfroy, John Minang, Gerafric, just to name a few. He is a force to reckon with in the Arts and Showbiz Industry. He began his career as a rapper - songwriter and one of the few, who started the urban music scene in Bamenda, in the early 90’s. After starting off as founding member of Bamenda’s first ever rap band “BJ Boys”, he later became one half of the Afro Dancehall duo known as “Concluders”, along with Smugler O. Currently, Master Ngwa - Ngwa is producing “BAMENDA URBAN VOICES”, a weekly made - for - TV talent show with an outdoor version produced in various neighborhoods across the city.*

Tse Anye Kevin, A Vibrant Spirit In CCTU.

Cameroon's North West Regional mandated Representative of the CCTU, Tse Anye Kevin, has promised to re-write the history of “Trade Unionism” in the North West region. The promise was made at the last CCTU re-organizational meeting held on Nov. 2nd 2013, in Bamenda. The meeting was in view of the upcoming staff representative elections. In a brief speech Tse Anye Kevin, who is also the CEO of Career Library, called on North West trade union members to work closely with the CCTU. He further advised that anyone dealing with the former “MEDUTU” president, who claims to be the national vice president of the CCTU and the president of “MEDUTU”, is doing so at their risk. For there is only one CCTU in the

whole nation.

SOULAFRIKA BOUNCES BACK

Cable TV broadcaster SoulAfrika Entertainment Television is back on air and now available on three Bamenda based pay TV operators.

In a chat with GOCOTIMES, Godlove Neba Nyambi Jr CEO of Sirri Mangie Group, parent company of SoulAfrika, stated that the channel has come to stay and only grow bigger and better.

MAMBO MANCHO'S BURIAL DUE ON SATURDAY JANUARY 25th, 2014.

Bamenda based actress, event / film producer and showbiz entrepreneur Mambo Mancho, also known as Mamz will be laid to rest on Saturday January 25th 2014, at their family residence situated at Mancho street, Bamenda. The hard working showbiz practitioner, famous for her annual event "Ebony Project", died on January 13th 2014, at the Mezam Polyclinic a week after complaining of severe waist pain and a swollen tight.
